The University of Karachi has announced admissions from May for the M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs in different disciplines after a year and a half break. This was decided in the meeting of Board of Advanced Studies and Research, headed by the KU Vice Chancellor Dr Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui. The admissions were last done in September 2006.
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) test will be conducted prior to the admissions and the test will comprise 50 percent questions related to the subject and 50 percent related to general knowledge and English. All questions will be multiple-choice questions. |
